Material Girl

Now Playing: Ivy - Ocean City Girl

In their November issue, Toro Magazine ran a feature comparing headphones, and now me want. I mean, I was doing fine with the earbuds that came with my mp3 player, but now I really crave/want/desire/need a pair of good headphones. This Denon one is the most affordable of the lot, but it's still not what I'd term a casual purchase. The Bose headphones are much pricier, but just so pretty. In the just-plain-outrageous range is this one from Grado Labs; honestly, who needs hand-crafted mahogany headphones? According to Toro, though, the sound is like a pair of hi-fi angels cooing in your ear, so I suppose you get what you pay for.

*sigh*

Yours in fiscal inadequacy,

Sharon.

When it comes to sound quality, go for the best. :P John Williams would be rolling in his grave if you bought a lesser brand of headphone.

*someone notifies Stephen that John Williams is still alive*

Pfft, his music died when he released the Star Wars Episode III soundtrack. :P

Dude, if I had a 1000-odd spare bucks just lying around - oooh, the things I'd do. :D

You'd donate it to the Stephen Singh Foundation to make a (relatively) stressed med student happy? :D :P

anyone who gets the answers to their biochem test essentially in advance cannot possibly be stressed. :P

You should've seen our class though... soooo many type A personalities studying like HELL for a test where everyone's guaranteed 100%. :S

It was a nightmare to witness even for a seasoned UofT student such as myself. :S

shouldn't they be conserving their strengths for the exams that aren't such giveaways? :S

In the world of tomorrow, conservation of energy for exams is a moot point. Matter and energy will be interconvertible! VICTORY WILL BE OURS!
